do not outsource thinking to AI
i think A LOT. i'm scared i will use this gift/curse if i use ai too much. its a tool. a machine. that is why i never anthropomorphize AI. its not a human. it deceptively talks like a human and gives off the illusion that its a person. its not. its all just lines of code.
i've been seeing people increasingly relying on AI for thinking. from business decisions to personal relationships. this is terrifying and its also why AI is unlike any technology of the past. it could not influence human decisions one to one.
if you thought social media algorithms were controlling - you should be terrified of LLMs. i'm already hearing stories and experienced a few first hand - but Chatgpt told me this. what happens when everyone relies on claude/chatgpt to make their decisions? we will all think the same way.
use ai wisely. think critically. be human.
