i'm building a school (kinda)

i was talking to a friend the other day, and she was saying she wanted to learn so many things but couldn't figure out which ones to actually focus on and stay on track with.

i could relate totally. i am in a similar place. with the internet and ai you can kinda learn anything you want to now. but learning alone sucks (especially if you have adhd like i do). there’s no one to celebrate with when you finally get a concept, and no one to keep you from closing the tab/book when things get boring or difficult.

i realized what i actually needed was a community, a group of people where it was okay to be a beginner. a place where we can hold each other accountable. a place where we can share and learn from each other.

i spent a little time putting together a landing page and a slack channel called the learner project.

i don't plan on charging for this. i'm not selling you anything. i just wish i really had such a community, so i built it myself.

if you’re in the same "too many interests, zero focus" space, come hang out. we can figure it out together.

join us here: the learner project :)
