Re: Grow slowly, stay small

I read Grow slowly, stay small by Herman. It kinda put into words what I was thinking.

I work in tech. I'm trying to build a company within the tech space. The last year has been a struggle, to say the least. We've tried many different things. Some were successful, others not so much.

Like all tech entrepreneurs, I was dazzled by the billion-dollar valuations and VC money. More recently I've been asking myself, is that what I really want?

Not really. I just want to work on something I'm proud of. Something that helps people. A real, genuine business on the interweb. Not the cash-swallowing, fast-growing, unsustainable SaaS that dominates the internet.

I don't really care for investor money or accelerator applications anymore. If I get it good, if not, we will continue building to lead a good life by our own standards.

Goal #1: Make enough money to cover rent. :)
